About this event

Daily tasks are repetitive, hence, provide a good chance to exercise proper programming skills by automating them using APIs.

Have you ever wondered how to make life easier by providing scalable solutions to repetitive or day to day tasks? Then this is the best avenue for you to try that out, experiment and learn from others how to make the tasks easily run at the click of a button.

This hackathon, Africa's Talking Women in Tech Hackathon: Tasks Automation using APIs, is designed to enable ladies and all attendees to build on their API skill better. Additionally, this hackathon will engage the creative muscle by having participants think of as many applications in daily life as possible that can be integrated with APIs to make the tasks automated.

Using APIs, participants will be able to brainstorm solutions tailored for them, and use the industry best practices to bring scalable and applicable solutions to life.

Throughout the hackathon, participants will have access to experts who will provide guidance and support as they develop their solutions. The hackathon will conclude in a pitching session where participants will present their solutions to everyone, who will evaluate and provide feedback on the projects.

Join us and let us build scalable solutions.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Automation of daily tasks
  • Integration of APIs with daily tasks
  • Creative, scalable and easily applicable solutions

All developers, from all fields, are welcome for the hackathon.
