Stephen brings a wealth of experience from his work in mobile and web development, business payments, and health technology. Having led the architecture and development of Uganda’s national Electronic Medical Records system (UgandaEMR), he understands the role of technology in solving real-world challenges. Passionate about growing Africa’s technology ecosystem, Stephen advocates for open-source solutions and inclusive participation, particularly for women in tech.

In this session, he will break down the disruptions shaping the industry and offer practical advice on how developers in Kampala can future-proof their careers.
