Earlier last month we had an insightful fireside chat as we delve into the critical issue of waste management and recycling in Kaduna State at IT Central hub. Our esteemed guest, Special Assistant on Climate Change to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senior Special Assistant ICT representative, Head of Waste Management & Deputy Director Environment, and Permanent Secretary Commissioner for Environment a leading authority in the field, they share their expertise on how technology, particularly AI, can transform waste management practices to create a cleaner, healthier environment.
Africa is grappling with a mounting waste challenge, and we believe technology can be a powerful tool for transformation. By leveraging Africa’s Talking products and APIs, you can develop solutions that revolutionize waste management practices across the continent.
Harness the power of AI to optimize waste collection routes, predict waste generation patterns, and improve recycling rates. Create intelligent systems that connect waste collectors, recyclers, and communities, fostering a circular economy. Your innovations can contribute to a cleaner environment, job creation, and sustainable development.
During the hackathon, you'll have access to expert mentors who will guide you in utilizing Africa's Talking's suite of products to build effective waste management solutions. Compete for exciting prizes and gain recognition for your contributions to a cleaner Africa.
