About this event

We request the honor of your presence at the World Poetry Day Release of "A Son of the Nile,” featuring Teddy Warria’s “I Am From” poem.

“A Son of the Nile,” is a nonfiction narrative genre that is part poem, part autobiography, and part workbook that amplifies the golden thread of human connectedness in the spirit of Ubuntu - “I am because we are.”

The rich tapestry of our African life histories and stories is the ultimate determinant of our leadership and self-discovery journey, the people we become, and the lives we impact positively. You can gift the book to your mentees and alma mater at https://sonofthenile.com/
