Join us by leverage Africa's Talking APIs to build innovative solutions and tools for efficient case management, impactful public engagement, and real-time updates on legal and policies on the last Thursday of this month (29th May). Build scalable solutions ready for the African market!. This hackathon challenges developers to harness the power of Africa's Talking APIs to create cutting-edge solutions that streamline legal workflows, amplify public engagement in advocacy campaigns, and ensure timely dissemination of critical information. By building tools that improve access to legal resources and empower organizations to communicate policies effectively, participants will contribute to a more transparent and just society.

Objectives:

  • Build tools for efficient Case Management: Develop innovative solutions that enable legal professionals to manage cases more effectively, track progress, and collaborate seamlessly, potentially leveraging mobile accessibility.
  • Develop platforms for Public Engagement in Advocacy Campaigns: Create interactive platforms that empower the public to participate in advocacy efforts, raise awareness, and mobilize support for important policy initiatives.
  • Provide Real-Time Updates on Legal Cases and Policies: Design systems that deliver timely and relevant updates on legal developments and policy changes to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and can take appropriate action.

Challenge: Streamlining Case Management for Legal Professionals

  • USSD API - Enable legal professionals to access and update case information, schedule appointments, and manage tasks efficiently using simple mobile interactions, even without internet connectivity.

Challenge: Enhancing Public Engagement in Advocacy

  • SMS API - Facilitate the dissemination of policy updates, calls to action, and advocacy messages to a broad audience, enabling mass mobilization and awareness campaigns.

Challenge: Delivering Real-Time Legal and Policy Updates

  • Voice API - Provide timely and crucial notifications about urgent legal developments, court dates, or policy announcements to relevant stakeholders through voice calls, ensuring critical information is received promptly.

Africa's Talking powers communications solutions across Africa with simplified access to telco infrastructure, developers use our powerful SMS, USSD, Voice, and Airtime APIs to bring their ideas to life, as they build and sustain scalable businesses.
